Welcome Employers!

Important Information

The Cornell Engineering Career Fair Team welcomes you to Cornell! We hope you find your visit enjoyable. Please feel free to reach out to us at ecaft@cornell.edu if you have any questions.

There are two entrances to the Barton Hall (the Career Fair location). One side is for students (the Statler side) and the other side is for recruiters (Teagle side); there will be signs around the Cornell campus which will direct you to the correct entrance. Hotel shuttles (if available) have already been instructed to drop you off at the Teagle entrance. When you check-in to your hotels, please notify them that you will be requiring shuttle service and arrange a time to go to the career fair.

If you are driving from your hotel to the career fair, please note that you can drop off any packages you have at the Teagle entrance and then drive to a parking garage (parking information). When you check-in, you will be led to your table and will have to fill out a form which a volunteer will later pick up.

If you are sending several recruiters to the event we highly advise that you ask them to wear name-tags stating which department they are from (for example, the BEE division or MechE division). This will save both your time and the students' time. In past career fairs we've had several students wait in line only to realize that they were waiting to speak to the wrong representative.

Travel to and from Ithaca

Detailed information is available on traveling to Ithaca by auto, air, bus or train. If you experience any travel delays that will affect your visit, please contact Engineering Career Center at 607-255-5006.

Featured Student Groups

Project Team HQ, Upson Basement

Engineering Student Project Teams involve nearly 1000 students, working on engineering challenges from developing an autonomous sailboat to designing safe drinking water solutions for developing countries. These students, as well as developing quantitative skills in the classroom, are solving real and complex engineering problems, which prepare them to hit the ground running in their careers.

Duffield Atrium

Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) students engage in projects designed to provide hands-on experience solving an engineering challenge with real-world applications. Projects span the full range of engineering activities, including, for example: design; concept, prototype or product development; manufacturing or process improvements; feasibility studies; market analysis; applied or basic research; business plans; and many others. Most projects are team based and many are company sponsored to address specific industry challenges.

Duffield Atrium

Through undergraduate research opportunities Cornell Engineering students experience the exciting process of discovery and innovation. Almost half of our undergraduates participate in some form of research here in the college and through our affiliations with other institutions across the country and internationally. Guided by faculty mentors, students apply classroom learning to improve existing processes or to develop entirely new approaches.
